The plant ayahuasca grows in the vastness of Amazonia (South America). It is believed to have the power to heal, purify and open the doors to higher spiritual dimensions. The film speaks about the experiences of local shamans, who use the plant to treat incurable diseases and ‘travel the world’, as well as about various experts and ordinary people and their experiences.
