For many of the indigíneous people, not always can the fire be dominated. In a history marked by fascination, greed, destruction and revolt, the fire plays a role in all the struggles of the world's opressed people. What is left when everything turns into ash?

Rita de Cássia Melo Santos is an anthropologist, researcher and teacher from João Pessoa. She conducts research about the Brazilian native people in different times. She has published extensively on the topic of colonialism, and is since 2021 author of a podcast about the meetings between the Indigenous Warao people and state agents.

Leandro Olimpio is a director and editor from São Vicente. Before Memories of Fire, he directed and edited several short films, all of which have received numerous awards.

Irineu Cruzeiro from Serra, has degrees in Literature, Computer Language Teaching, and Educational Informatics. He has extensively studied and published about the history of the province of Espirito Santo.
