Zahra is an anthropology student. She has got a special permission to observe the life of sexual minorities in Pakistan inside the red-light area of Lahore. This film records the life of a hidden world which is not known to the commons.
Zahra maintained a mom–daughter relationship with a head of the sexual minority group khawaja sara and stayed with her. She recorded the daily life, dance, sex business and the interaction between the khawaja sara and common people. To her surprise, most people had good intentions to help sexual minorities, but there were various ways of providing alternatives and contradictory interpretations. The interview also crossed the border of India in order to trace the indelible relation between the folk cultures of the two countries.
