Ahmet Akten has been a tombstone craftsman for fifty years. He creates tombstones using his craftsmanship, employing his manual skills. Being on the brink of death has left deep imprints on his thoughts. The tombstones adorned with verses carry the stories of the past into eternity. Tombstone craftsman Ahmet Akten depicts the fragility and value of life. He captures the meaning of life in the silence of graves. He sheds light on the mystery behind life's essence.

 

 


Eser Tokaş is a director, screenwriter and producer. Born in 1993 in Van, he graduated from Dumlupınar University, Department of Business Administration. He started his career as a graphic designer and directed his career to cinema with trainings. He worked as cinematographer, editor, boom operator and lighting chief on many movie sets. He is still actively working as a cinematographer and editor on film sets. He founded a cinema academy called Sinatolye where he gives cinema trainings. Apart from cinema, his poems and thought pieces are published in various literary magazines.
