The Serbs of Gallipoli actually originated in Srem. After the conquest of the Srem Despotate, Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent settled in the nine villages of the Gallipoli Peninsula. Despite their way of life in these villages, their relations with the Greeks, Turks and others ethnic groups, the wars after which they fled to Jagodina and Niš to return to Gallipoli, they did not forget their old Serbian language, songs and customs, which they subsequently brought to Macedonia, namely the town of Pehčevo, where they moved in 1922. This episode is just a part of a series of ten episodes about the Serbs оf Gallipoli.
