Food indisputably has a social and cultural significance in any community on the planet. The results of a research conducted in Cameroon in 2014, which highlights the daily experiences and the development of attitudes towards food, reflect a combination of an artistic experience and scholarly sensibility. Different traditions in the diet of urban and rural populations shed light on the overall relations between the traditional and the modern.
