Through accounts of the inhabitants of Stara Planina (eastern Serbia), the film documents the beliefs of these people in mythical creatures, such as osenja, tenjac (vampire) and the water bull. Food cooked according to old recipes, a traditional building style and the magical beauty of nature make an environment where old values persist.
