The three protagonists, each connected in their own way to the stone, present the traditional skills of quarrying and processing stone. The sophisticated methodology and its frenetic rhythms will take us back to long-forgotten times. The author's film camera, in this short documentary without dialogue, leads us in a radical way on the trail of tradition and folk architecture, which is an inseparable part of identity of this area. Using the picturesque ambience of the old abandoned village in Bukovica, the author does not complete the whole unit, but meaningfully leaves to the viewer some room for reflection. The film “Traces” is visualizing that what makes human life miraculous.
