The ghost of Eric Boman (1967-1924), a Swedish Argentine archaeologist and anthropologist, returns to the place of his field studies high upon the Andean plateau. This essay film, partly biographical, partly experimental, depicts Boman's life as his ghost wanders through the barren landscapes. He reflects upon humanity, its constant and futile struggle against time and the difficulty to understand others. As he drifts alone, memories and dreams are interwoven with his philosophical reflections until he meets another wandering ghost: Carpanchay. Together, they will seal each other's destiny.
