The portrait of Svetozar Stracina pays a tribute to an extraordinary music composer who has left behind a vast, significant musical legacy. He was an extraordinary artist who stands out from any “folder”. A boheme who perceived inherently and cultivated the authentic folklore. Stracina not only substantially contributed to the ethnomusicological repertoire, he composed an enormous amount of legendary film music, too.

Pavol Barabáš is one of the most popular Slovakian film directors. He is the man behind a wide range of mountain and adventure films involving people in extreme conditions. His films have been awarded with more than 300 national as well as international prizes.
