The Aharonov sisters are four educated, career women and devoted mothers. At sunrise, they collect crimson worms to dye the ornamental cover of the Holy Ark. They donate their jewelry for the creation of a gold menorah for the temple. "We bring salvation to the world", they say. “I don’t see the mosques and the Ishmaelites – just thousands of Jews coming to bow down to God,” says Rina, 50. At the time, Rina didn't know it would be her last visit to the Temple Mount with her eldest daughter, Hallel. 

Irit Shamgar graduated from the film department in the Tel Aviv University. She taught at the film school of Seminar Hakibuzim, wrote short stories and film scripts. Written and directed three documentaries
